Hi Guys, im here to show you the steps to complete The Mega Gyarados Stone Quest 😄

 

 

1 -> To start this quest you need to talk with Lorelei in Cerulean, she is walking in front off Cerulean GYM.

 

 

2 - >Talk with Misty, she is in route 19 , south of Fuchsia.

 

 

3 -> Complete the 3 trials

 

- Trial of Patiency: Show one magikarp with 120 TOTAL IVS or Shiny Magikarp . ( YOU DON'T NEED TO CATCH IT NOW, IF YOU HAVE AN OLD MAGIKARP WITH 120 TOTAL IVS, IT'S FINE! ** GYARADOS DON'T WORK **)

 

- Trial of Adaptability ( HE HAS A TEAM LVL 80 ) : Win the NPC 6x6 Battle with a full water team (The pokes CAN BE Dual Type, Any Level and don't need to be your OT )

 

Strategy:

 

LVL 100 or 80+ Bold Lanturn, example:

 

 

Gyarados:

 

 

MOVEMENTS:

Lanturn:

Start with lanturn and use Aqua Ring, now use 6 flash and sweep to Gyarados

 

Gyarados:

6 Dragon Dance

5 Crunch

1 Iron Head

 

- Trial of Wisdom: The Wisdom NPC are in ROUTE 22 with same sprite he has first time trial. ** SOME PEOPLE ARE SAYING HE ARE'NT IN ROUTE 22, REALLY I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS A BUG OR NO, other people says the npc can be in Route 3, but for me he are in rote 22.

This time you don't need to use a full water team, you can use your normal Baton Pass team, or other team you like, my strategy is:

 

He First Poke is an Empoleon WITH ROAR: Use DESTINY BOUND + MEMENTO to kill it or change his pokemon with Whirlwind

 

Second Poke: Greninja with Water Shuriken Attack, here i used my baton pass team DEF setup,

 

---------------- FINAL BOSS: Misty ------------------

 

SETUP SPECIAL DEF BATON PASS, setup in slowpoke ( First Pokemon )

 

Here my sweeper is Conky GUTS with flame orb

 

 

 

Move Sequence:

 

- Knock Off

- Poison Jab

- Drain Punch

- Drain Punch

- Drain Punch

- Drain Punch
