elaborate help menu

Featured Replies

i keep getting a vision of an elaborate help menu for 'new to pokemon' players. Essentially it would have like a guide for the first town. Kindve like; "this button does this" ; "this symbol means this". Real basic... Or you can turn the poke page and read up on 'Guide for Intermediate... what-have-you" - and sortve brush people up on some of the creature ins-and-outs.

Imagine if there was like a voice over like, "Watch as bulbasaur uses vine whip... but really, watch the vine... its elegance... and suddenly *Thwap*... the opponent has fainted. This time watch as Pidgey uses her peck..."

.....or something

"Watch as youngster shorts battles gym leader dante... unaware of their lv?; he sends out..." or whatever, the point is it would be a funny exaggeration of just minimal activities.

Well a little skippable tutorial can be a good thing.

From 2015: I'm still here

I feel the issue with this is that the majority of people here have played pokemon before; I honestly recommend anyone who hasn't played Pokemon before to try one of the actual games, since this is much harder, and I don't think it'd be that enjoyable if you didn't know what you were doing.
