What have you done before the problem was there?

I'm on the fly/railroad quest, so I need that feather from Pidgeotto. As such, I obtained the TM Thief in order to aid my efforts. Unfortunately, a travesty occured; in the midsts of the roaring stormy front of hopelessness, as waves of lag crashed above and below, TM Thief flew from the ship of my inventory, and into the unknown realm of code that is the water below. It was never to be seen again. I taught my pokemon, Lickylicky, the move TM thief. TM thief disappeared from my inventory. Lickylicky did not learn TM thief. I hope this is simple enough to follow, despite my analogous dialogue. https://gyazo.com/7e620110e0f2a5865bb294a5d07ca748

Here is a picture (screencap, not anything obscene, promise!) of the aftermath of the tragic event.

What have you already tried to solve the problem?

I contacted a head mod, possibly some other sort of moderator (who respectfully requested that I refrain from using his/her name), and he/she told me that my best bet was to take this issue, of which he believed I was correct but could do nothing about, to the forums.

Description and Message

Everything was described in detail above.

EDIT: Oh! This has happened prior, with the TM/HM Rock Smash, though the chat was spammed with complaints of the lag, and my "You taught "..." the move Rock Smash!" was lost in the wind, along with my hopes and aspirations for the future.

Wait, I'm a bit confused. So if someone has photographic evidence of harms/losses suffered due to a glitch within YOUR OWN SYSTEM, that individual is not entitled to compensation for the lost item after documenting an error with substantive proof? That makes very little sense.
