I did the Halloween quest last year, came back to go and go the gengar thing and I'm unable to enter the hole, or go to the dark realm, or whatever I'm meant to do. 

I spoke to the NPC outside, Selina, who mentioned "It got worse after the lord returned to his VIlla in Necropolis. I wonder if there is any sort of connection."

Went to Necropolis, went to the top of Alucards castle thingy with a pokemon with miracle eye, nothing there. Horon is also not in his location anymore, and the mayor doesn't say [heck] to me except wanting a phanatump. Everyone I've spoken to about this is like wtf.
