I moved your thread into a proper place.

 

First of all, we don't compensate progress loss caused due to game crash, as it would not be fair for all other players who experienced same problems.

But, there is a way to re-teach your growlithe reversal.

 

You just have to find a Move Relearner.

The NPC is located at the following places.

Kanto - Cerulean City, Saffron City
Johto - Goldenrod City, Blackthorn City
Hoenn - Slateport City marketplace, Sootopolis City
Sinnoh - Snowpoint City, Hearthome City

 

The NPC teaches you moves that your pokemon learn via level up and which you've passed for a fee of 2k per move.
