Any time I battle a trainer on a route etc., if I lose to them, if I go back they will act as though I defeated them and not battle me. A player could essentially get through a whole route or gym etc. without beating any trainers just by losing to everyone once. Rather than trying to skip content, this is causing me problems because I would actually like to re-battle the trainers I lost to until I beat them as it is hurting my exp to lose the chance to re-battle trainers I lose to.
