Thick fat ability doesn't reduce damage received from ice moves

Featured Replies

Dear staff,

I would like to bring to your attention that something might be wrong with the ability <<thick fat>>. I used mega venusaur against goodra, the opponent used flamethrower which did like not enough damage and when he used ice beam , the damage I received for 4 rounds in a row was like I was using no-mega venusaur 2,5 times more. (my opponent hadn't specs and didn't use any sp att boost move, as he used flamethrower and ice beam for 4 rounds).

                                                                                                                                                                        Thank you for your attention.

Hello @Sch1zO92

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I've tested different interactions with the ability, Thick Fat, and Ice-type moves do indeed ignore the ability.

The issue has been forwarded to a developer and will be fixed as soon as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to report.

Have a wonderful day!
