Hi, i suggest :

1~ to put a npc in pallet town to show how to catch a pokemon

2~ to put a npc or blackboard in the school at viridian city to show about the status changes (paralisis, sleep, burning, poison, freeze and fainted )

3~ when lets go to implement oranges island that prof. Ivy gives a mount lapras or a lapras to surf in it

Well, maybe not in these terms, but I do agree for the necessity of a tutorial in order to help new players to begin.

1. If you don't know how to catch a pokemon, that's sad.

2. Status effects are pretty self explanatory.

3. As far as I remember orange islands is meant to be part of this game at some point.
