Is it possible to let players decide whether to show their names or not ?

 

I mean if I don't want to let the guy who I am battling with know who I am

 

there is a button that can let me choose to show my name or not before entering pvp queue ?? ig. (show/hide) 

 

What do you think ?
 

 

But if you play against someone whose name is hidden and they break the rules somehow - how will you report them?

Maybe random generate number for every pvper (ie. Hotspaghetti VS #13488646) 

 

or (#123546 vs #465115) 

 

something like that and you just report the number

 

So staff can according the number to punish the pvper

But then how is knowing someone's name vs knowing someone's number any different? Either way it's an identifier that represents you. If someone chooses to leek your team on their guild discord or something, whether it's under your username or your number - it doesn't really matter.

Reduce PVP rage because you can be angry at no one

 

the number will be random so every time you battle you get a random number

This would become increasingly complicated and anyway I think you should show your name when Pvping. This allows us to report easily
