Jirachi Quest Issue - Cannot Catch

Featured Replies

Hello, I am trying to catch Jirachi but the wish stone on the Moon keeps saying "it seems like nothing happened". I have all caught data from Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn, including Mew and Celebi, and have the seen data of all other legendaries (including having fought the roaming Latias and Latios). I have over 200 hours played and over 210 evolutions, and I have Jirachi's seen data from the house. Am I missing anything or is there a bug stopping me from catching? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi there @TosoundofSirens

Sorry for the inconvenience.

In order for the quest to progress, you will need to have 200 hours of playtime after entering Hoenn. To check how long you've played since then, speak to Professor Birch in his lab at Littleroot Town. Please let me know what he says once you've done so.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hi @Maisa, Ahh shoot my mistake I thought the requirement was 200 hours of total playtime. I only have 63 hours in Hoenn so that's  definitely the problem, thanks a lot for the info! Feel free to lock this topic :)
