Drialmeida Posted March 24, 2016 Share Posted March 24, 2016 Well i am here because even knowing the game is great it isnt perfect yet =D but it is really addictive even not being perfect, with a few changes you could actually make one of the best Pokemon games EVER, so here i go, my list isnt that big i dont think... As i wont mention the list of stuff is already planned for the game, or at least i am not aware off :) Btw i havent finished the elite 4 in jhoto(i am on 6th gym) so my suggestions will be based on what i have played so far 1. The game should be a bit more regular than it is: what i mean by this is that the degree of dificulty when you first start is really high, starting with that lvl 3 evee that can almost 2 hit your starter and with Brock that will make you have to grind in order to pass him, the struggle at Brock is really high but once you pass him it gets way easier until you have to defeat Giovani at the casino, once you are able to defeat him the gym there is a piece of cake(prob the easiest gym in kanto) And after defeating elite 4 and starting my journey in Jhoto i found the gyms over there really really easy in compare with Kanto, i dont even think i struggled in any gym so far. My point is, the game shouldnt go from hard to easy, but from easy to hard... Dont make the struggle in the beginning as hard as it is at the moment, because it could make new players easily quit, but raise its dificulty afterwards... I know its not easy to do what i am saying but then again its just a sugestion :) 2. Remove core items on new journey: Like you did with the Pokemons getting locked on the pc, i think you should do the same with core items such as bike, fishing road and some others you are able to startwith in order to make it much harder over there... People could unlock them while they progress in the game but i dont think they should start with these items, i mean with the good road it took me like 15/20 min to put my cindaquill around lvl 15 and get ready to defeat the gym, just by defeating pokemons a bit higher lvl... By doing this you would highly increase the dificulty of starting in jhoto. 3. Trade link: A feature ingame where people could post their own pokemons to sell for the price they wanted, this would prevent a lot of spam in all chats... The trade chat should still be used to trade as no one would inst buy your pokemon on the trade link but people should only be able to buy pokemons there once they get all badges to dont make the game any easier to progress in story... Pokemmo has this feature and it is probably the only one i am missing. 4. A bit more story in Jhoto: During my journey in jhoto so far i felt most of the time i was playing without any enemies, they appeared once at goldenrod but then they completely disappear and only come back at the 6th gym, Suicune probably appeared more times than teamrocket... And i also kinda miss Jackson here, what happened to him, isnt he suppose to be my worst enemy? 5. Reduce a bit the rate of some pokemons: Some pokemons are really hard to find, it took me 4 hours to find a shinx and i couldnt even be harsed looking for a better one as it took me all this time just to find one, i would understand if bulba, squirtle and charmander were this hard to find because on the original you can only get them once ingame... But once we wont have the day care, having one of these pokemons with nice ivs is a task almost impossible... I would say either add the day care, or reduce the rate of some of the pokemons you can find in the wild. Team Rocket alternative story: I know this sugestion would be really hard to make once involves many scripting and i dont intend in see it any time soon in the game... Perhaps it would be actually fun to implement it any time in the future. Instead of the same cliche story of speaking to the professor Oak get your first pokemon and start your jorney as Pokemon Master, why not changing a bit and let people chose if they want to start as a team Rocket guy... This would make the game different from every other Pokemon game out there. I know it is a dumb suggestion that will probably never come true, but i just felt like sharing it with you guys =) Instead of speaking with Professor Oak who gave you the first Poke could be Giovani on a basement floor under his Gym, this would make both the new players start off relatively close from each other... The starters of every team Rocket player would also have to be different a bit more dark we would say, the starters i have though off to start with as a Team Rocket guy could be Koffing, Ekans, Zubat... This could create a system of PVP inside the game between the Team Rocket people and the good guys, i have been thinking about the rules and this is more or less my idea. You could challenge other players for a duel and they could not refuse it, but you wouldnt be able to challenge them if your pokemons are 5+ lvl higher than the person you are challenging to duel. Also once you get defeated in one of the pvp battles you would be on a cooldown of 1 hour or more, this means that you could not either challenge other players or they challenge yourself. Instead of having to defeat Geovani and Team Rocket every time, there should be alternative quests, the same does not apply to Howen and so on, cuz i dont see anything wrong in team rocket fighting team aqua and magma ^^ You could still go to the gyms and Pokemon league because as we have seen in the anime, they can easily infiltrate on these kind of competitions and still participate in them. Abandoning Pokemons: This was a feature created by pro already and i dont think it would be that hard to make it come true... My idea is that we could abandon our own Pokemons on the wild and they would appear like one of these blue Pokeballs we found in Jhoto already. Sometimes when you are trying to catch the Pokemons you desire and your team gets full of the same type and you cannot see their status until you get back to a Pokecenter it is a bit frustrating... I know that in the future we will able to see their status as soon as you catch a new Pokemon but still. If you could abandon a Pokemon in the wild you dont want, this could be a nice feature... I know this could create a spam of blue pokeballs in the wild and make the game lag a lot and this is why i came out with these 2 rules... There could just be 3 abandoned Pokemons at the same time on every player, but if suddendly one of the Pokeballs is caught by a random player, you could release another one. And did you or I wrong? But I see Johto is harder than Kanto... 127102 2. If you don't know, the suft is requirment specific gym in Johto for using agains. Only bike/mount can be use at the beginning. It's not fair and for your point, the requirement for trading is 4 badge - that fair enough. Here is MMO, if need all badge for trade =,= that's very dissapointed. 127102 4. I ment only items like bike, fishing rod(you are also able to use it on the beginning) and it makes jhoto much easier than it should be in the beginning... and gives you a high boost to get prepared to the second and third gym just by training with the fishing rod in the very first place. 3. What i said on my first topic, let me correct myself, was not to make the game easier... It was to make the game slightly easier in the beginning but harder than it is later on... You are saying welcome to an MMO, but have you really played any? On a MMO you wont find the second boss easier than the first, at least the MMOS i have played dont...
