Yea, i observed that bug before, too. But this does not immediately make your opponent a cheater.

 

Sometimes when you have entry hazards on the field and your poke faints right after it comes on the field due to entry hazards, the system lets throw the poke on the field again as if nothing happend. Since its the exact same situation the poke faints again and the system records an additional fainted poke.

 

Did you have entry hazards like stealth rocks on the field?
