Whenever I try to open the game, it doesn't show anything and temporarily freezes my laptop, after a short time it would unfreeze and nothing would be open.

Can you check if your game client is based on linux?

If not, can you please try the following procedure below?

     1. Erase all the PRO related files from your computer

     2. Flush the trash bin

     3. Download the linux game client from this link

     4. Select PRO as an exception from your anti-virus program

     5. Try opening the game again.
