So I tried to evolve my golbat to crobat since the level 91 (it was max happiness) by giving it rare candies, the evolution window didn't prompt. 
I closed the client, waited for 1 min and then re-tried but it didn't work.
I maxed his lvl and tried with the mysterious candy and it still didn't work.
What can I do now to evolve it ? 


EDIT: I fainted it, closed the client for 30s then relogged and healed it and it evolved
