Fishing or Surfing for Staryu?

Featured Replies

I'm trying to catch a staryu to train for my team, but I don't know which method is easiest to find them.

People have told me to try seafoam b4, so I will, but I was wondering if the odds are better by fishing in Seafoam (yes I have a super rod) or by surfing?

Does the same apply for Dratini?

Thanks :)

Try in seafoam by suft is better then sitting in fishing for Staryu!

Dratini is better fishing in DD  than in Safari

I'm almost certain that, in Seafoam B4F, Staryu can only be encountered by surf

As Dratini can almost only be fished (not in safari exclusive, or wait for the Christmas event -if they do the same than last year-, you'll be able to surf into one in the custom area x) )
