Friendly reminder to look for Wild Wailmers in Cherrygrove City by surfing, or if you want a higher level one that'll evolve into a Wailord quickly, Treasure Beach on Island One has encounters by surfing as well. You can then take it straight to Mt Ember and train it in the Slugma room for a quick few levels.

 

Get your Wailords nerds. Do not push aside the Wailmer you find because it is "bad", for you and that Wailmer are tied by destiny.
