My Azumarill didnt evolve!

Even though it was asking to evolve at 93, i got it to lvl 97, i checked its happiness before giving it a rare candy, 255. didnt evolve, i switched from my phone to computer, tried again, still didnt evolve, tried again after closing and reopening the app, again checked happiness, 255, tried again, nothing, and now i have a level 100 azumarill with max happiness, and even mysterious candy doesnt make it evolve. can someone please help?! i just want my azumarill, i know ill need 2 mysterious candy.
