User Interface (UI): possible improvements

Hey there!

While the User Interface is really appealing, there could be some improvements.

I'm personally not going to suggest major changes but small changes with huge impact, especially for android users.

I found no topic related to UI so ppl might add their suggestions here too.

Suggestions (mainly for phone Users):

• add an option (button) to expand/minimize the menu with pokedex, Trainer, Backpack and so on so it takes less space (like the map). On my Sony Xperia Z2 it takes roughly a fifth of the screen (1920x1080, GUI scaled at default, 50%). While minimizing the GUI is causing you to see nothing anymore.

• add an option (button) to hide the pokemon team or at least hide hp/exp. This information is accessable on click/tap.
  

• slightly offtopic add an indicator of the server's status in login screen, like empty, populated and crowded
