I think this is a very common problem with 1&1 hosted email´s (which web.de is part of). I´ve had these issues with other online games aswell. Only help was to switch the account email to my google mail.

 

And yes i know this sucks ive been using my web.de mail for about 15 years for almost everything but recently its becoming more and more of a problem.

Well, maybe the problem from provider, common issue in registration game without using Gmail. Yup, it true!
