After nearly 20 hours I still got no email to activate my account. Forum says I maybe have to wait a few hours but not 20? How long does it can take until I get the mail?

Check the junk mail. If there is nothing there, change provider. A lot of minor provider don't work with PRO: use Outlook or, as Mayelesa said, Gmail to be sure to receive the email.
