celebi bug

I'm doing the celebi quest and it's having a bug, I gave the gs ball to the scientist but he doesn't give it back and tells me to leave and let him work, I don't know what else to do can you help me?

This is only the first part of the Celebi quest.

The next part will be to awaken the Legendary Dogs (or Cats) Raikou, Entei and Suicune to get their seen Data.

 

I would recommend to follow the Staff guide for the Celebi quest that can found here:

It also includes all requirements needed to finish the quest.

I defeated the dogs and lugia and thor and nothing has changed the scientist still doesn't give me the gs ball

Make sure you have all the Requirements:

150+ hours of playtime

Finished the Mew quest and captured Mew

121 unique Evolutions (bottom left in your Pokedex)

Caught data of every Johto Pokemon except Raikou, Suicune, Entei, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi

 

If you are missing one of these requirements the quest will not progress.

If you have all these requirements, let me know (preferably with screenshots).
