If I replace it with a new chespin, will I need to give him the 30 items again? I wanted to confirm this before doing it with a different Chespin as am already invested a lot of pokedollars for the items and over 12 hours on this quest trying to catch a Chespin and leveling them up. I could not defeat all 4 pokemons and stuck with Ferralgator doing Ice Beam and killing me instantly with 2/3 HP so I wanted to make sure if I have to cough up another 400k pokedollars to get all 30 items (10 Steel Gem, 10 Fire Gem, 10 Metal Coat). Please help if someone knows. Please close this thread, I needed to redo it all with a new Chespin anyway and the answer is yes, you have to give him the 30 items again.
