i fought with the expert belt guy in mt.silver but then i got disconnected when i was fighting his last pokemon, when i logged back on i spoke to him and he says something about doing more training, but when i talk to the hiker blocking the cave entrance he says that i have to go and fight the expert belt guy and wont let me through, but i cant battle him again, any suggestions?

I am not sure about it, but maybe he has the 2 weeks cooldown such as all the bosses in game.

so i cant get through to the place where the hiker is blocking?
