My leftovers dissapears

I was on Jhoto, and equip my Totodile whit the item, then just now, whit the reset, my leftovers dissapears. I check my backpack and all of my pokes on the PC, but i dont have leftovers and is a mandatory item for competitivo snorlax.

If leftovers is held with Snorlax by the time you were in Johto then unless you beat all the eight gyms you won't be be able to unlock it.

I unequip from snorlax. My totodile had equip the leftovers yesterday, im sure of this. Anyway i check it snorlax on the pc and he dont have any item :S
