Flare boost broken

Featured Replies

Hello,
Currently the way flare boost is coded is incorrect.

The way it is now-

When recieving a burn, the mon recieves a sp. att boost, which goes away when swapping out, starting a new battle, etc.

The way it should be-

While the Pokémon with this Ability is burned, the power of its special moves is increased by 50%. (similair to guts but the pokemon gains sp. att instead and does lose att while burned)

Strength sap also not coded so double rip for my drifblim 😞

Hello @Thriii,

Thank you for your report and sorry for the inconvenience both issues caused you.

Currently on PRO, Flare Boost gives +1 Spatk when we get burned (shouldn't), switching out removes that +1 Spatk and makes Flare Boost completely useless for the rest of a match, exactly like you described it.

As for Strength Sap, it's uncoded and I can't give you any eta as for when it will be.

The Flare Boost issue has been forwarded to our Developers and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Feel free to continuously report anything you think is bugged in the Bug Resolution Center.

Regards,
Middleground
