can't use abseil rope item in hoenn safari

even i have abseil rob i cant climb the rock on hoenn safari area zone 6 is it a bug ?

Thank you for your report and sorry for the inconvenience it caused you.

 

It's indeed a bug. You can only climb this spot while knowing Rock Climb. Even if you own an Abseil Rope, it will force you to select a Pokémon with Rock Climb.

 

This issue has been forwarded to the concerned team and hopefully it will be fixed soon.
