High Tide Areas are available to the player between 09:00 - 14:59 and 21:00 - 02:59

may I ask when you obtained your Shoal Salt, was it recently or longer time ago?

Ok. Thats what I suspected,

 

I think you perhaps farmed Shoal Shells already a long time ago, but sold them at the Item Maniac - because that is easy done without realizing it when you spamm buttons for selling items.
The Shoal Shell spawns are there for a very very long time and never made issues, so we dont really suspect any bug.

We are aware that this cave is the only way to obtain Shoal Shell's and that you can sell them. We have planned to solve this problem somehow.
However, no idea when.

If this item is sellable to Item Maniac, i guess i sold it - you are right.

I suggest to make it untradebale for new players - problem solved.
