So I just met that psychic dude who was like 'witness true power in the past' and then ended up in a fight against a lvl 120 Dragonair who was spamming the heck out of Hyper Beam.. with my highest level pokemon being level 24.

I feel like I was supposed to lose. They kept missing Hyper beam, but hit just often enough to wipe out 4 of my 6 pokemon (one was already KO'd before the battle) and then ran out of PP and switched to outrage. At this point I had them at half health thanks to confusion having them hurt themselves. My only pokemon left was a level 21 Cleffa that had Magical Leaf, Sing, Sweet Kiss, and Copycat. It was the only pokemon that could cause confusion and survived thanks to luck and strategic switching. Outrage was thankfully completely ineffective against it to the point where Dragonair ran out and started spamming dragon dance instead. (This dang pokemon bulled through the confusion effect to the point where I honestly thought the game was purposefully skewing it in their favor, 15 or so straight times where it just did what it wanted without hurting itself and three times where it snapped out of confusion in three or less turns). I half expected it to reach the point where it would start using Struggle.

Point is, my level 21 Cleffa came in clutch with Sweet Kiss and caused the level 120 to KO itself (I honestly expected to have lost in 5 turns when I saw it spamming hyper beam considering one of my pokemon was already KO'd before getting there)

So considering the game had a message ready to say 'well you beat that, but..' I guess the devs accounted for it, but I still feel like that should've been some kind of mandatory defeat scene.

Anyways, question aside, I thought it was a hilarious 'david and Goliath' situation and started laughing like a madman after the fact, so I thought I'd share for the amusement factor if nothing else. If it weren't for the fact I was playing it on a new phone with no apparent way to record without risking logging out from the game, I would've recorded it. Makes me wish I was at my PC instead.

Typo 'to lost' to 'to have lost'
