I was at trainer's tower recently and faced a peculiar hurdle. According to the description at desk, it said that no trainer would use a pokemon type that's strong against mine

with the exception of diverse rooster. But according to the situation, i bought only flying/normal types yet still faced a disadvantage typing

As you can see, i have 6 starlys in my rooster yet faced a macargo which is fire/rock type, which proceeded to wipe my team.

 

If this is a bug, please fix it soon and if not, please revise the trainer's pokemon generator to match desk description.

It's really hard to explain everything clearly but I can assure you that whatever you had experienced is completely intended and can sometimes happen and is surely not a bug. Explaining it further would be really difficult without leaking the system/mechanics behind this, which we cannot do. We encourage players to discover the inner mechanics of how the Trainer Tower works by themselves.
