My thoughts on the new XP system for a returning player

This new system is nice for those who are starting to level up early on, but will punish you for being end game leveling. As a casual player since 2016 this new update just makes leveling up Pokemon from 70-100 horrible. Xp should be based on the evolution+level and not a fixed rate. As of now, pokemon 60+ give little xp around 1400-1900. That barely makes the xp bar move up now.

 

Trainer tower is not the solution for a casual player (yet another money sink for a casual player). I dont have all the time in the world every day to grind out daily task in the amount of time I play just to be able to get enough money to use the tower, healing with the nurse in there cost another 1.5k per use. She should be free considering the amount of money you spend to enter on higher level floors. And why does it cap out at 97, it should take you all the way to 100, I should not have to rely on rare candies just to get over that hump. I cant even enjoy the game if wanted to anymore because of this. The rate of xp still needs work and if this is staying how it is, I will unfortunately leave the game. I get that this is a mmo and most mmo's are a grind, but this way of doing the xp is not the way going about it.

 

Please consider upping the xp you get from wild pokemon in higher level areas. Especially ceruleon cave considering the large amount of work you have to go through just to unlock that cave.
