Description and Message

Firstly, sorry for my english but I'm hope you understand me :)

I have just read guildes and I haven't found one important thing - dependence between basic statistics and evo-stages of Pokemon. I know that 1st stage of Pokemon (for example Charmander) is easier to leveling than Charizard. But what about base statistics? In Gameboy games each Pokemon when lvl up got few points to basic statistics. In my opinion higher stage of Pokemon gets more stat points than 1st stage. I'm wrong?

Example 1.

Charmander >>> evolution on 98 lvl to Charmeleon >>> evolution on 99 lvl to Charizard.

Example 2.

Charmander >>> evolution on 16 lvl to Charmeleon >>> evolution on 36 lvl to Charizard.

CONCLUSIONS:

1. Charizard in example #1 first reaches 100 lvl - that we know.

2. In which case - example #1 or #2 - Charizard on 100 lvl will have better basic statistics?

I guess the charizard that early evolved when it reach to lvl100 charizard will have the same stats to non-early evo

From the day you were born, and took your first breath... I've been beside you. Be not afraid, fear not the name of the reaper.

Why you think that? On each lvl up your pokemon receives some points to base statistics. On lvl up Charmander receives another points than Charmeleon. Conlusion? In example #1 you have Pokemon with 98 levels stats as Charmander, 1 level as Charmeleon and 1 as Charizard. In example #2 u have Pokemon with 16 levels stats as Charmander, 20 levels as Charmeleon and 64 levels as Charizard.

If the IVs and EVs are the same for the two examples, the rwo lv.100 Charizards will be the same. The stats don't depend on which level you make the Pokèmons evolve.

Both examples will have equal statistics at level 100.

When a pokemon evolves it gains higher base stats, for example a charmander has 60 base stats in sp attack, but a charizard has 109. Having higher base stats does mean that it will gain more stats with each level compared to a pokemon with lower stats, but this does not permanantly handicap the lower base stat evolution.

Ignoring evs/ivs/nature, a pokemon's points in an attribute is calculated only by its CURRENT base stats, the amount of levels it spent with lower base stats during a previous evolution does not affect it as that is not part of the calculation.

If this doesn't make it clear, just say :)
