So I have a Rotom lvl 100 currently on auction. 

I take him with me from the Box and go hunt bulba at the woods. 

I catches a hlw form and was surprised, that Rotom got exp

 

He lost 2 lvl Idk why

Thank you for your report and sorry for the inconvenience it caused you.

 

A few months ago, some Pokémon like Rotom forms had a wrong EXP Group which caused them to not gain the correct EXP amount.
It auto fixes itself when you defeat/catch a Pokémon, and you will gain or lose levels accordingly.

Your Rotom simply got reajusted.

 

Feel free to continuously report anything you think is bugged in the Bug Resolution Center.
