Teramiiko
Hey guys, I found out that if you run into the sight range of a trainer just as you are attacked by a wild pokemon, once you defeat (or run away from) the pokemon, the game assumes you beat the trainer, and you can pass without really battling them. :D:  I found this out at Mt. Moon, where wild pokemon can attack you at any time. The chances that this will occur should be pretty low, but it should be addressed in case this messes up with the scripts and possibly prevents the player from progressing. Any thoughts? Crimson
This was reported some time ago. As you stated the chance to encounter a wild pokemon in front of a trainer is somewhat low and in order to abuse it to skip trainer you need to rely solely on luck.
