Just as the title suggests would it be possible to get a prompt in NPC battles to switch in another Pokemon when you defeat an opponents Pokemon like they have in the handhelds? And maybe the option to turn this on or off like in the handhelds as well?

This is a very good suggestion for battling NPCs. This way you can train much more effectively

If this is something that is not considered feasible for an MMO, maybe have this be a member feature, that would be a huge plus column for training

I Actually wanted to suggest this since i joined the game , Its very needed specially when server goes live and pvp goes around.
