The current health of the pokemon does not change on level up only the maximun HP.

this makes it so effects like sturdy does not activate if the pokemon levels up during a battle, since its health percentage is no longer 100%....

and could (and did) make strategy's involving sturdy and focus sash during the first two pokemon leagues not something thats viable because your pokemon may level during a battle

and yes one solution is to level up to level 100 before the Elite Four, but lets be realistic. not many will level all pokemon to level 100 before the first or second one

is it possible to look into changing it so it follows the normal pokemon games and current health increases with the same numerical value as the maximum health?
