i was trying to catch a ditto for 3 hours and it didn't spawn, my friends, who were playing the same amount of time as me, found a dito at the same location in less than 15 minutes, both of them, and when we tried to cath a dratini they found 5, in total, while i didn't found one. I don't know if i am the unluckiest player in the game, or it's just a bug. Can somebody help me?

Just RNG, you can do 3000 encounters and not getting a rare spawn pokemon while the person next to you do 3 encounters and get a rare pokemon.

I'm sorry about the frusration caused by that situation, but i assure you there is nothing with your account. As @Mysticwind mentioned, spawns depends on RNG (random number generator)  and hunting a pokémon can take 1min or 1 hour or more, in other words it's just about luck.

 

Furthermore, ditto is mostly a rare spawn so it may take some time to find one. In some location on the other hand it's uncommon, such as Cerulean Cave, route 34 and route 47.
