Madshrimp Posted January 7, 2025 Share Posted January 7, 2025 Hello, I caught a 141 IV caterpie today but I am still not allowed into the genesect room, I have 650 hours of playtime. Is it because I submitted a larvesta instead of the caterpie for the contest? None of the guides I´ve seen mentions anything about the 140+ IV poke needing to be submitted, it just says it needs to be captured during bcc. Just like @Mysticwind explained, the only requirement for getting Genesect is submitting a pokémon with at least 140 IVs during the daily Bug Catching Contest. Only catching one wouldnt count if not submitted. You can find more information about catching Genesect in the ProWiki, as well as information about other Legendary/Mythical pokémon quests.
