Enjoying Sinnoh

I've been super picky with my Pokémon this time. I'm starting to wonder how I'm going to evolve Karrablast later on though. Both of them are strong level-wise, so it's been feeling pretty good so far.

Good luck on your adventure through the Sinnoh region! I like your pokémon choices so far, Chimchar is a cutie but I think Piplup is the cutest starter :3

 

To evolve Karrablast, you’ll need to trade it with someone who has a Shelmet. When you trade Karrablast and Shelmet, they’ll both evolve.

I’m really loving my Karrablast! I don’t have to worry about evolving it for a while. I also added a few more members to my team and just got my fourth badge!

I love the new additions to the team specially Helioptile, that little bugger is one of my fav', it's so adorable.

 

I see that you don't evolve your pokémons, is it just a personal choice or something else ? In the past, none evolved forms used to Exp. faster than their evolved counterparts but it is no longer the case at the moment, if it's just for that reason feel free to evolve them. ^-^

 

I can't wait to see more of your achievements and best of luck in the rest of your adventure

That was the sole reason... do they not need less xp to 100 than their evolved counter parts at all?

Not at all ! There was an exp rework sometime now that changed that (also was the update where Exp share was introduced) and currently a pre-evo pokémon and it's evolved form both exp the same. So feel free to evolves them whenever you want  ( You should check the moves the pre evo and evo form learns, some moves need a higher level in the evolved ones and sometimes don't learn them at all)

Oh, got it! It honestly feels like I was doing a challenge mode. I earned my 5th badge using only pre-evolutions. If it wasn’t for Chansey’s special defense and revives, the ghosts would've totally wiped me.

Haha, you did as old veterans used to do the story and that's an achievement on it's own ! Congratulations on getting your 5th badge, that's awesome ! Chansey is a goat, it can be an unstoppable beast even tho it has that cute egg face :3
