Mega Charizard X: (Verification Date: 04/06/2025)

Starting Point: Go to the Cinnabar Island, enter the Cinnabar Lab and then enter Room 3. Talk to R'ual. 

 

He will ask you to show him 3 Pokemon that have the following specifications:
1) A pure Fire Type pokemon that knows a Flying type move. It must be level 60 or above:

-Rapidash (Somewhat difficult to find but he learns both the types of moves you need without teaching him via a Tutor or a TM)

-Arcanine (You must teach him a Flying type move. He can learn Aerial Ace. You can find it in Hoenn)
2) A non-Dragon, Flying Type pokemon that knows both a Fire and a Dragon type move with 60 or more select IVs.

This pokemon cannot be a Charizard and must also have at least 60 total IVs among ATK, DEF, SPATK, SPD combined:

-Gyarados (You can teach him Flamethrower)

-Pidgey Evolution Line (You must teach him a Fire type move. He can learn Sunny Day)
3) A level 100 Dragon Type pokemon that knows both a Fire type move and Dragon Dance.

Additionally, it will need 25 or more IVs in either ATK or SPATK and be trained to 252 EVs in at least 1 of those stats:

-Dragonite (Relearn him Fire Punch)

 

After you show him the 3 Pokemon, he will battle you.

 

His Team contains:
1) Arcanine

2) Torkoal

3) Charizard X

4) Hydreigon

5) Rotom

6) Infernape

 

Defeat him and the Charizardite X is yours!

 

Mega Gyarados: (Verification : ...)

Starting Point: Go to Cerulean City and talk to Lorelei.

She is walking on the front of the Cerulean GYM.

She will give you the ticket to participate in the Misty Trial in Route 19.

Go to Route 19 (Under Fuchsia City) and talk to Misty.

 

After you have done that, you have to speak to the 3 Trial Masters and complete their Trials:

1) Trial Master: Adaptation

2) Trial Master: Patience

3) Trial Master: Wisdom

 

Trial Master: Adaptation

He will just ask you for a battle.

You are only allowed to have Water type Pokemon in your party for that battle.

You can use Items during the battle.

 

His Party:

1) Magnezone
2) Abomasnow
3) Rotom

4) Steelix

5) Thundurus

6) Breloom
