The crashing issue is very important and I seriously think there must be in the future the implementation of something to avoid the 2 weeks cooldown in case of crashed. Btw noone has ever got his bosses resetted (it happened also to me lots of time to crash during a bossfight). So, sorry, but nothing can be done for your specific case.
