It happened to me twice.. have to wait 2 weeks for cool down

all we have to do is wait and hope that it won't crash when we're battling red again

Unfortunately you will have to wait, to the best of my knowledge, 1 week to rebattle Red.

 

There is nothing that can be done. I have lost to bosses before because of crash, as well as many others, and you will just have to wait for the boss to reset and allow you to challenge the boss again.
