So i bought a magikarp, had some really good stats on it, max speed iv and rash nature. To good to be true right!?

 

Anyways, I just logged on about a minute ago to find that it is gone! FTW.

Its recorded in my pokedex as me having it, the old guy doesnt give the option of buying it, and my 1.5k is gone(ouch).

 

So what do i do? Is it tough luck or is there something that can be done?

check your box. sometimes if you get a pokemon - even if you have space in your team - it instantly goes to your box. at least it happend for me.

no i checked my box, nothing there. I even checked all the dam boxes and nothing

It's probably due to a server rollback

Yeah but if so, then wouldn't I still be able to purchase magikarp again? Also it wouldn't register in my pokedex that i caught it too if it was a rollback right?
