Could I ask a friend to perform a server transfer to retrieve items or Pokémon I’ve won in an auction on the Silver server?

The plan would be for me to give the funds to my friend, who would then switch to the Silver server to collect the Pokémon I bid on; once my friend returns to the Gold server a month later, I would then take the Pokémon from them.

Would this be considered a violation of the rules, or could it be flagged as RMT (Real-Money Trading)?

It's fine, however I do advice you take evidence of the agreement, just in case anything goes sour and we Tmod ask you for evidence. A simple in game chat like: so as agreed, you take the funds to silver and collect the pokemon for me. And the other party agrees.

As long the trade is completed, where the seller gets the funds and you the pokemon in the end, thats what we aim for.
