Dhevin Posted June 12, 2016 Share Posted June 12, 2016 Hi, I wish to report that mudkip is a "Water" Pokémon and not a "Water/Ground" Pokémon as seen in the picture below. Once he evolves into Marshtomp he does however become "Water/Ground". This is really unfair in the beginning of the game when you battle May who has a Treecko with Absorb which is a x4 weakness against mudkip because of the "Water/Ground" typing.
