Hi, I just started playing PRO not too long ago but I can't help to notice this rather dire issue regarding notifications in this game. Before I lay out my suggestion I would hope that if this feature was already implemented, that the people here would tell me how/where can I see it, because I have searched for a while and I couldn't find it.

Alright the feature that I would like to suggest is that the Client's download page would have a 'client version number' included. Like how when you first opened the client, you would see the version number at the top right.

I am suggesting this because it would help us to know if the client we have is outdated. Now, I know that -sometimes- the client would tell us if the version we have is outdated, but it only does that -sometimes-. I am considered to be a freshie in this game, but I have noticed that the other day, during the events of the Red server being upgraded, the client I currently have at that time did not tell me that my client is outdated, and I spent a while trying to Login, only to come to the realization that downloading the new client fixes it.

Now because of that 'minor' issue, I would like to suggest that the download page has a client version and that the "Download latest client from here' would also tell us when the latest client was updated. Because right now, we have no real way to know if the client we have is up-to-date unless we download it again or if the client it self tells us.

Here are the example images:

Thank you for reading and sorry if that this kind of similar feature is already made and I am just too blind to see it.

not really

So you just came to this thread on your high horse and only read the outlines of this thread then post a reply that relates to the title of this thread and assume victory saying as if I am dumb to not know about the "download's page"

Totaly agree with this, its something simple and it takes no time at all to get done.

Maybe... But I think this is pointless because the client always tells you when the version is out of date.

Btw what I think it is a problem is that, in case of queue, you need to reach the end of the queue to realize the version is out of date, because the game itself does not advise you in advance.

In addition, most of the times there is an official update link in the left column on the login screen of the client which tells you wheter an update is available. (The situation you mentioned about the new hardware of the red server is just an exceptional case).

So I don't think this is very necessary.

Hmm. Well but I do agree that the client should tell you that your version is out of date the moment you opened it instead of having to wait/log in to find out. Thanks anyhow for your opinions.

Couple days ago from day to night I downloaded the game 3 times because it was out of date, in this case this suggestion is a need. Maybe u missed this event :D
