It's been saying it can not connect to the server for about two hours now. Is the server still down or is there some other reason it won't connect?

Same issue here, apparently it's the server. I thought it wasn't because the site says there are 600+ people online. Server status is pretty useless if it's not up to date IMO

Yes the server is currently down and there is no eta on when it will be back up.
