Hello all..

let me introduce myself.

im a 30yo man. i have a wife, 4yo daughter and a nine months old baby boy. i teach chemical engineering in a university and also an assistant coach in a local semi-pro football club. i always like games, i play lots of them but the games i play in a high competitive nature are pokemon games and DC Universe Online MMO (up until nine months ago when my 2nd child is born). so, lecturer-football-pokemon, not a common combination, but yeah, it is what it is.

i play my first pokemon game back in Gen1 pokemon red when i was a kid, but the first pokemon game i played which i actually know "how things works" is pokemon emerald. i got into competitive battle around pokemon platinum. there were time that i was pretty active in smogon, discussing tiers for competitive play and what not. i was at the top of pokemon showdown leaderboards for OU and RU in B2/W2 at one time few years ago. my last copy of pokemon game is pokemon black 2 nds, i havent got any of the gen 6 games but i still keep track of em and sometimes still play showdown to test things out.

i actually play PWO few years ago for a few months. i was there when it got hacked around 2011 or 2012 iirc, and still play on and off after all that drama. but sadly to say PWO has too many bugs. the switching is broken, no held items, no nature, no EV, no breeding, ability doesn't work, and so many broken moves that has too many flaws making it impossible to enjoy pvp battles.

im just here to test the water a bit and probably will stay for a while. good luck to the devs. hope this game can be a good game, and way better than that buggy PWO game.

Welcome to PRO! Even though you are here to "test the water" so to speak, I'm confident you'll stick around once you see what we have to offer. Have fun in game I get the feeling you may be apart of our community for a while.

My first pokemon game was Emerald too, I fell in love with Gardevoir but once pokemon DP came I met Togekiss and found out my true love.
