On the Mt. Pyre quest, having to fight 26 dudes before reaching the summit to get the orbs, it can bug on the third (not sure) NPC, the one before the first set of stairs. If you encounter a pokemon in the grass at the same time the NPC locks eyes with you and challenges you to a duel, you can go behind him after the wild pokemon battle. You can then proceed to walk freely all the way to next area since the rest of the NPC's won't spawn.

 

So I must say I'm quite happy that I encountered this bug, that quest was hard and truly expensive.

 

EDIT: Also, if you log out before the battle begins with any NPC, you can skip it's battle, not sure if it's a bug but might be worth a fix since it's very exploitable.
