Camera bug or missing part of the map Route 7 - Celadon City

In Route 7 by the entrance to Celadon City I can see a whole lot of black map on the other side of the entrance. I feel like the camera should either stop so the entrance is just at the edge of the screen or a part of the map is missing

That whole black area just doesn't fit in and I believe it's a bug of some sort.
