Further Starting Customization

So, I've been walking around and I can't help but see people who look just like I do several times. I feel like part of an MMO experience is not just the multiplayer, but the uniqueness of players as well, so I'm going to suggest a few ways I think the current first time selection can be improved. (don't get me wrong, I think the shop is a great way to add diversity, but I feel we need more free based diversity in edition to the sweet shop items)

• I suggest we have 3 main outfits with the different colors, this would make diversity explode. We have a lot of outfits we've seen from X and Y and from games prior. Maybe the community can choose their favorite 2 to add in?
  • sub thought: We could have base and trim colors down the line if we felt really fancy, or add in the option to choose pant and shoe colors as well.

 

• Another idea I had was we get to choose our backpacks. This would also deliver the message of uniqueness and we've seen at least 3 different types in Pokemon: The backpack we see already, the satchel, and the waist pack.
  • sub thought: being able to have different styles or colors of bags would help add diversity as well.

 

Anyway, those are my general thoughts. I know this isn't something PRO isn't really focused on at the time, but I thought I'd bring forward my idea anyway. Thanks for reading!

Yes, simple changes that add diversity to how players look (important in mmo indeed). Good idea !

No suggestion will be priority, i dont know why people keep repeating that phrase, they already have priorities, these are suggestions because they may get added in the future, they wont be priority...
